What did you do to your E30 today?

Nice paint correction! I love doing that to single stage that is faded to hell and it looks new when done. I know this is a lawn mower hood BUT its from the mid 1980's and original paint. Had to wet sand and 3 stage buff it.

I got it a month or 2 ago. The engine didnt run and the transaxle had a huge hole in it. It runs, drives and mows now. I will be taking it to a meet in August and sell it there. I have 2 more that should clean up as good if not better.

Painted the glass fog light lens Match the original. I got new lenses and they are a pretty close match, just needed silver paint on the side.

Also installed new windshield spray nozzles.

What did you do to your E30 today?

Working on replacing a bent front bumper shock, after 4 years, and found the front turn signal wire tape to completely disintegrated, used some new 3M friction tape to mend it up good!

I got bored and decided to try the smoked taillight look to see if I liked it, since I had an extra set of late model tails from my last vert. I think I like it quite a bit. That VHT Nightshades stuff looks nice and glossy if you apply it right. No runs anywhere!

New bumper trim got some cquartz treatment.



New bav rest grounding strap went on.



Installed some Lamin-X yellow film on my new glass lens on the fogs.



Attempted to install new aux fan and condenser, only for the condenser to not fit...

Also aligned Strömung exhaust tip properly, it was hitting the valence.

Drove to NE Connecticut during a 100 year rainstorm, got drenched but scored some every nice new to me pleatherette sport seats from luckysnafu. I cleaned, painted and installed them into my daily driver.

Now when I drive I don't lean like some 50 year old plus gangsta wanna be!
