What did you do to your E30 today?

installed the s4.10 today. i must say it was a good move, 3rd gear scratch ftw! monday i have to swap trailing arms, wheel bearings, & cv shafts from the parts car.

swapped out the old ratty radiator for a new Behr piece. anyone see the curvature of the top section on the old piece? when the engine was revved you could see that top bar EXPAND, no joke.




its the wifes car, but the more crap we fix/replace the more i like it. dont really care if its a eta at all.

new blower motor fan.....i dont know how i got it in, and i dont care to remeber

also i reset my ecu and played around with the throttle cables until my car went back to normal idle/doesn't stall on cold starts

Drove it for the first time in a few days! :)

Last weekend, though, I replaced the 3/4qt of black sludge that I had as transmission fluid with Redline MTL, cleaned my ICV, Sea-foamed my engine, and replaced a blower motor resistor. Shifts smoother, accelerates smoother, and no more funky cold-start idles..and it's nice not having to run the heat on '4' all the time.

Early model diagnostic unit. Later cars have the round 20 pin instead.

i found a red cover for the diagnosic unit... kinda pumped. lolz.

oh and blew the mind of a friend of mine with the 12 button OBC in my 87 is "dude! thats insane!" (he's an american car guy...)

I put in this pimpy guage cluster, took out the door panels, and sat in it. It's got that nice old car smell that the E36 cant get right.
