Putting in a new radiator support, '88 valence, new RH fender. Got a nice spot-weld cutter (looks like a little 2-flute end mill with a centering point) which makes removal of the bent radiator support easy.
No 24v parts. We sold the completeM20, gearbox and ECM after we pulled it out. (Good riddance :giggle:)

Basics of Catia are similiar to Solidworks: draw a sketch, pad it out (rib, revolution etc) do cuts, slots, more pads etc on it. Advanced Catia: surfaces, kinematics, sheetmetal etc are not needed for what we did. Positioning and constraints are similiar.
The guys at the local Hot Rod Speed Shop thought the swap was really cool, even though they specialize in early Hemi engine mods.Leave a comment:

Congratulations! That's it, tonight is Catia You Tube tutorial night!
Any recommendations for good ways to start learning to use it? I've only worked in SolidWorks before.Leave a comment:

Drove to work today; entire office of aerospace engineers and designers came out to look -- then they made me make a couple passes by on the road 8-)Leave a comment:

Got the PS pump / HydroBoost all de-bugged. No pump noise anymore, good brakes and steering. Still have to pressure bleed the brakes, then its show time!
