Sorry I'm more interested in driving a car on its intended surface than building it in a garage for years.

I had an Erector set that was fun when I was a kid, but I got an E30 to track it.

actualy other then roll cage tubing i havent spent any money on actual parts for the e30 in almost a year, its all been spent of tools at the rate im going ill have more in tools then i will in the car, which i like alot because the cars will come and go but ill always have the tools. And i belive in getting high quality tools so most of my stuff i can see lasting a lifetime

Guys im cutting off part of that strut tower bar that extends past the strut tower. the finished tower will look something like this

And i will be running a bar across the engine be similare to this car, which based on what i have read is one of the best cages ever put in a bmw, the mclaren super touring e36, so i think they knew what they where doing when they designed that

the front subframe tie in was done on the DTm cars, they did not do the bar inside the engine bay, which i have done.

Some of the DTM bits you have are cool, like the trailing arms. The cage reminds me of the "Jaffster Cage" from BF.c Track Forum.
