    This explains alot :p

Good on you for doing all the work, nice to see someone who wants to give it a try and learn instead of just throwing it over to a shop :) Doesnt matter if it doesnt get finished, atleast you would've learnt alot.

Ps. I orgasmed over your tilton pedals. Same thing i'm going to do. :)

maybe you didnt look at the pics but, i have made sure that ever panal that is cut out, of swiss cheesed has a replacement panel. This is my first cage, and the only way i know of to get some of these bars to fit is to cut the body, get them fit welded and then install new panel. Everything that has been cut apart will get removed at the spot welds and then patched with a complete panel rewelded in at the spot welds and then stitch welded to everything else. Basicly with the exceptions of the actual body panels, i am going to be stitch welding everything. I am actualy going to buy my miller mig machine today in order to have it for over winter brake when im going to try and get most of the fab work done.

and for all those wondering where i work, heres the place www.razny.com.

Yeah, there is nothing wrong with crumple zones becoming crumble zones, right?
I'm just happy to know I will not have to endure any high speed testing in this car.

Not many have OEM levels of fit. Let me get pics of the Austrian DTM car I helped part out. There was barely any E46 left. Obviously this guy isn't just leaving it as is, he's going back and replacing the panels he cut for room to weld.

WTF is wrong with you guys, Eric does make on honest living. And this project will get done, and is being done very well. Don't say shit when you don't know the half of it.

This is kida hasrh criticism considering the guy took our advice on the roll cage and is actually updating the thread.maybe he gets haunted by creditors or sells drugs, but this seem to be happening with this car.

I hate to be the optimistic sap, but really.

Wouldnt it of made more sense to chop the body, build a chassis and fix the shell to the chassis. This is going to be one hell of a project, GL,i cant wait to see the finished product
