Called Bob this morning to see if I could use his soldering station to reflow some joints in my ECU. I was hoping he'd say he was out in the garage working on that e30. But instead he told me he was on his way to the home and garden show with his woman and he wasnt allowed to take calls during "their time" lol. So he had to hang up and said he would call me back when he was alone. I dont think that car will ever see the light of day again at this rate

Sounds like he needs a bunch of drunken Aussies to come over, vomit on his lawns and sexually disrespect his letterbox to show The Minister Of War and Finance she has it pretty good and to ease up on him...Pork Hunt Motorsport

Ok, honey-do list is shrinking and I had the whole day to myself in the garage.
This is the first time I've touched the car in almost a year. :(
Cleaned the garage and got organized:
Some stuff from Blunt showed up and valve cover and manifold from Matt:
Motor coming apart!

It's about time! I'm getting ready to go do the same in the garage, so I can actually start working on the car soon.
I'm watching your thread, and a few others, on engine solutions so get moving!Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

Made some progress on my day's off but I got sidelined into working on the house today.
I'm off again on Monday and Tuesday so I hope to get the head out to be checked and the flywheel resurfaced.
Wheeled her out to get cleaned up.
New ride in the background. :giggle: The 4runner is going to a friend on Monday.
The peanut gallery.
Hope to have some good updates for next weekend. I also need to get some stuff into powdercoat and find someone to weld in the oil return nipple on the pan.Originally posted by Simon SWhen a dream is a dream for too long - it becomes a fantasy..

Glad to see movement. Just for the heck of it, I'll post a timeframe perspective I just realized.
This thread was started on my Dad's 74th birthday, he is 77. (will be 78 10/29/11)
I bought my Acura CLs 4/08, modded it fully, totaled it 4/10.
I bought my Z 5/10, short of the stroker that is stalled waiting for the damn mechanic's engine builder (for almost three weeks) the Z is fully modded.
I hope you get this done before my full mod 2020 hovercraft is done.
:P
