I think I would've faked on the whole fuse box area. Did you tape off your door lock surrounds?

                Update 11

Waiting for parts mostly, working on her as I type. super brief update for those following.

Wiring for Crivy to do for me :-D

I removed all sound tar. and james moved fast:

Enigine work lower seals with refreshed oil pump (yes they are bolted in place)

More engine work (rear main seal was installed just after this):

Oil pan and lower engine all done :-)

More tonight, tomorrow, and everyday till this weekend's E30 Picnic!

Things I may be missing: bumper trim and seats :-)

Ok, time for some updates, the car is done... Kinda. Ill explain soon. Anyway I'll pick up where I left off.

Oil pan on is where we left the build:

                  Head-bone connected to the Block-bone

                  Headers, Waterpump, distributor, Etc. on:

                  Trim added:

                  and then some stuff happened

Umm... engine and transmission in now :p

                  James Finished this wiring mess:

Cool pre tear-down shot I found:

I need to find the rest of the pictures. so... more later.

umm, ok well, I still need to try and catch this thread up, I have pictures scattered between my 2 computers, James computers and my parents computer. so Im just gonna skip ahead I guess.

The first couple of drives the car was in this state.

And the interior only consisted of seats and a instrument cluster.

The concours de' elegance was coming up fast and I WANTED a trophy after 3 years of jack. The day before all my friends came together and helped.
We worked all night to get me ready for the concours, Big thanks to James, Kohl, and Darrin for helping me that long, long night. It pretty much got the car from what you see above,
                          to this:

James went home and crashed around 5am, after tackling the interior with Kohl. Darrin and I fabbed up seat belt brackets and tidied up the engine bay before my sister (his wife) Lindsay made him crash at 3 or 4am, Sorry if you got in trouble man.
Kohl, who was going to the concours with me, Got suckered into helping me finish detailing when we arrived at the show, heh. And Danyell kept me awake, somehow...

Hard work payed off and this was the reward:

Not bad for missing a headlight, having horrid aftermarket carpet and Sun damaged sparco seats from James and I's PRO3 car. My exterior and Engine bay scores were very high and Im shooting for 1st place this upcoming year.

But there is a lot to do for that so this thread continues. Ill update it again soon with some of the slow progress i've made. But here is a teaser of what is in store.

Cars about to go to the body shop to get the trim touched up. here are some Pre-picnic pictures I found and forgot to post.

I need to take upload pictures of the new exhaust, and painted wheels; get the Is lip splitter on; Get the new dash, seats, carpet and sparco bar in before the concours on the 26. So I figured I would start updating again. :-/
