I'm sure some photographers will pop in and correct both of us - but I believe it's not a matter of the color temperature of the lamps, but rather the white balancing the camera. This little camera has it in the menu somewhere, but didn't try it yet - I set it to incandescent and clicked away.

(confusing the issue I also had some overhead fluorescents on, and the mixture of light can also throw things off too I believe)

This is a great thread but I am really impressed with the image booth. I could use one of these for sure. What did you use of for the base (white material) the rest seem farily straight forward. I have a decent Canan as well.

$1.50 Walmart poster board. Disposable if it gets dirty. Some pepole use a roll of white butcher paper and reel it out as need be.

I also have some black, and that makes a nice effects as well.

See the square "holes" That is where the light gets defused by bouncing around in there - the round holes deep in side are the bulbs that twist off from the back. Perfect for running some wires through BTW - how nice is that? The plastic colored strip? Yea, that is what makes up the idiot light icons.

I know we chatted breifly about a shift light. My M is running the aplha n which as the adjustable shift light output. What are the chances of adding the shif lights in the cluster where the idiot light go?

Do-able. Or you could replace the service lights - and have it there. I know fiddle is bugging me for that.

I have a feeling alpha-n only outputs a single "on" or "off" signal for a shit light? Actually - I have no idea. Find me a alpha-n manual on PDF that has that info in it and PM me?

Yea, the relevant wiring would be nice. It may also mention what type of load it can drive. Is there more than one? How much current it can handle, ect. PM or email it to me. It's kinda a side thing, and I'd rather not get into it in this thread just yet. But, it's a good idea for people with alpha-n. But on this forum, it's like, all of 3 people?
