I'm already putting money away so I can buy this when it comes out. What kind of prices are we looking at? Will it work with common sending units/AFR controllers or does it come with sending units and stuff?

I'll post up more information as the project develops. As you can see, it's just about finished.

I really like this design, it offers the best day-time readability, unlike below.

that is amazing! i can't wait to buy one!

I have an idea....Lets do something with the Si lights. The little bar graph of LED's that is suppose to tell you when to change your oil. I don't use mine - I keep track of my own oil changes - so their are kinda silly/useless part of the dash. Let's put them to a better use.

Talking the cluster apart is super simple - and kinda fun. Everything inside the cluster just fits together, and you can't really mess anything up. So this should be really easy - if you can use a screwdriver, this project is for you.

The Si lights are on it's own circuit board, they are nothing more than a few LED's on a circuit board that works on it's own. You can remove the board, and it doesn't affect anything else.

It's super simple to remove, just lift it up off the pins.

So the Si light board is out - I'll desolder it, take some measurements, and make a new replacement board

Great - so time to make up some prototype boards. Drive board, and Si light replacement.
