that is awesome - actually I think it's really clean looking for a purpose built race car. I bet that thing is light as hell too - nothing required to remove, it was empty to begin with. :)
what engine management are you using? I noticed the innovate sticker on the hood.

Awesome build thread. Why do I think I've seen it somewhere else before? I don't dislike the front and rears, especially on a purpose-built car.

Fuck all you taste Nazi's, people are entitled to style their car anyway they so please. At least he's driving his BMW the way it's meant to be...hard.
This is a great build, with the motto "function before fashion" in mind. Definitely gets brownie points from me.Leave a comment:

Well, I've got a video but it's not really good quality.
Car passing by on the Circuit of Zolder in Belgium, Europe. Note that at that moment, we had a 3.25 diff and the car is passing in 3rd gear, going to 4th at the end of the straight, way too long. At the moment we use a 3.73 with a 40% LSD :

I will get some nice videos in 2008, got a camera allready ;).
We share the same opinion. It's a racer, not a showcar so it's never perfect looking. I actually like the looks of the car but I understand that some don't.Leave a comment:

This build went from sweet to ugly in about 2 seconds.
However, good job, I would have chosen different valences and wheels though.Leave a comment:

Wow, what a great read.
Soon I hope to see a great video.
Tom, let me make this clear...NO MUSIC ON THE VIDEO, motorsong only, please.
I wish I was there to do the wiring...I mean the only thing I see anywhere that is less than 100% clean is the bracket for the air filter and...the wiring.
Sweet build, guys! You earned that champagne.Leave a comment:

That is amazing, but that car is a 12/94.... so it should be actually considered a '95. :p
You probably have one of the newest e30s out there!!Leave a comment:

That's what I call a build thread!
Great work! I don't really mind the front and rear bumper covers. It was built to race! :)Leave a comment:

As above ;) there is a big weight difference and we can use the shape of the bumpers quite well ( In aero I mean, for upcoming modifications ).
At the moment it almost is. A bit different exhaust, an open filter for the intake and a light flywheel.Leave a comment:
