Sorry guys, I plan on finishing this before the summer ends. The chemo treatments only give me 2 weekends a month to really accomplish anything.
I promise I will finish it though. Once I do I will post more progress.Comment

Raising this from the dead but I just wanted everyone to know this thread has a happy ending.
Steve Reed of Chattanooga (tn325i) traded out some general labor helping me with some repairs around my home in exchange for the bottom end and unfinished head that was partially ported.
He recently finished it up and installed it in his car and is currently breaking it in. From what I understand, once the engine has been broke in plans have been made to add some for of FI.

I got to drive this car on the Cherohala Skyway this past weekend at the Smoky Mtn. BMW Rally and all I can say is it has definitely has some torque. Most of my driving was in 4th gear even when climbing the mountain. It was a blast.Comment
