well ok hit a couple snags but started saturday at 0930 and worked until 1730....started again sun 0930 and was forced out of the shop at 1900....bled the coolant system a little and drove it home sunday night....took 1 1/2 hours to bleed it enough to drive home...so i still have to tie up some loose ends...ie wire coolant fan...mount computer in glove box( currently just sitting in the glove box) and i'll be good to go until i get my tires shocks and rear springs in

              I hate you............:( Now I wish I would've kept mine:twisted:.

Who kicked you out of the shop, Johnny or Jeff? Cause I know Jeff like to hurry up so he can leave as soon as closing time comes around.

How do I spell stress relief?:hitler:

well....jeff tried but johnny let me stay as long as he could. when 1900 rolled around it was time for him to go but that's alright at least i got it to where i could drive it home. hey since you did this before let me ask ya....any idea why my blower motor for the heat and my selectors for vents aren't working?????? they were just fine before the swap...anyway got the coolant fan wired up and rigged into place for now...just need to make a bracket to really hold it in place. i mean wire coat hangers are great and all but....to much rattling around and that damn fan is loud enough as it is...thanks

23.5 hrs of hard work...+ 3 hrs of tedious stuff+ one e30 = one great ride

ok well i'm just about completely done....eventually need to replace the diff and the rear brakes need upgrading.... still drums....and the shocks should have that done in time for racewars....we'll see....so here's the pics......before Click image for larger version

ID:	7107347...loves this damn motor....this was a great project for my first swap but i got really lucky.....this motor came out of another e30 so already had the mounting brackets cooling fan exhaust( cat forward) and shortened and balanced driveshaft....but for some wierd reason i didn't need it. i was able to use my driveshaft from the 2.0 anyways thanks for taking the time and if anyone know where to get a water pump to thermostat housing hose with a spring in it let me know cause this hose keeps collapsing Click image for larger version
