Not much progress recently. Been busy at work and it's been to hot to weld up the rest of the cab. Instead Ive been sourcing parts and figuring out little odds and ends. I'm trying to keep the first page for the bigger progress points...
The rear is going to be on air bags, this way i can keep the same ride height regardless of the load. some say bags are cheating but in this case they serve a practical purpose.
I still need to find a drivers hounds tooth sport seat... any leads to one would be great... I'll have a set or rear door cards and rear seat for sale if anyone is interested.
Seat clearance:
I tossed on of my buddies VW wheels next to it just for giggles
Air Bags!!!!
Thats about it for now, the long weekend should yield some progress!
The s38 is in finally!!! Just waiting on some oil feed lines for the turbo and some flex clamps so hold the IC piping together. This weekend full respray shaved engine bay and custom 3in lips for the LM's. Moar updates later on while I dream up some more stuff.
This is the fuckin coolest thing ever!!! Please keep posting as many pics as possible. I want to do this one day and I will use this thread as a model...
What year did you take the ranger rear from? extended cab?

By the way... most people don't do a rear tailgate because they don't want to compromise the structural integrity of the car. It increases the level of difficulty by a factor of 10 at least.

^^ Exactally. and this truck will be used to hauls engines around for the e34 turbo project coming soon ;)
Not too much for updates as of this weekend. I ended up tossing my billies into the e34 and doing some exhaust work. Hopefully there will be lots of updates tonight/tomorrow with lots of new parts....
