Well, I have had this car for a bit, but I think I ought to give it a project thread of it's very own.

Goods:

Solid
Crack free dash
Nothing is missing
Strong ass M20 (good compression)

Bads:

Everything else. :) j/k

Hail damage (Hood, Roof, Trunk):-|
Steering is totally fubar:evil:
tires are bald
dents in the rear quarters
glass pitted/scratched - all around.:(
smoked in :loco:
Volume knob is causing scratchy noises when radio volume is adjusted.
Driving/Fog lights are retrofitted with some kind of walmart lights:rofl:
Oil pan leaking - gasket.

Pile of shit. Those are the "fogs" I removed BTW. lol! That was everything I found in the car that was junk, or didn't belong.

Missing window trim chrome. I found some at a yard, and was able to make it work. In the end it will be black anyhoo. :)

I then took off the plastic bumpers - and whacked the stock valance to get it straight. :) Off to the shop to be sure everything was in spec! :)

Now that we know it is in spec - it is time to add the M-technic II items.

and the rear! All OEM - just cuz!

I got a set of Mike's "homemade" Hella smoked lamps - and put the M Technic II items on! I scored the German spec grill and kidney's off ebay.de. :) Car is a bit dusty!

Exhaust was deemed a lost cause - added a new cat back system from IE (only on ebay for cheaper) and tossed it on. No point in going crazy if I add a engine later.

Had to get the wing. I also have the skirts (thanks blunt, and e30groupie). I bought all the pod/panels too. I had to get some new from BAV, but in the end I have a complete set. I am going to wait to put the pods and skirts on until I have it painted.

Finally! Looking good, doing it right.

shit - my front suspension fell out. lol. I removed stock BMW shocks from these housings - for all I know they were the original ones.

ZOMG! Fender gap! lol. I also pulled all the side molding off - slick and easy. The clips I drilled out rather than taking the door panels off - yeah - lazy. But it worked great!

On it's way:
New tie rods
New Control arms
New Tree House CABs
New H&R front sway

I also had to remove the front valance and beat the shit out of it to take care of a gapping issue. The eyebrows - I like 'em.
