Cleaned up the engine bay today, I am not going for a show winning car just cleaning it up...

Can anyone tell me how to get the damn crank nut off?????? So i can replace the timing belt tomorrow and put everthing back together!

You don't need to take off the crank nut, Only the early ones get in the way I believe, Atleast according to my bentley. You should be able to work the belt on around it. Just take off the 6 bolts securing the pulley, That is what I did. Also let the belt sit in the sun a bit before you install it. Will make it much easier.

hmmm ok i was trying to take the shield off and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get it off....the shield that is ... maybe with a clear head i can figure it out tomorrow, I am going to do some reading on the forum...i have the bentley too and I got tired of reading it...lol I was just exhausted today
