Not when you saw him busting rails of coke and the neighbors smoking weed. I'm good about knowing when things aren't right. I get a feeling, you know?

Top story... definitely one to tell the grandkids when they're of age.
Should have mentioned to the hot GF that you own two BMWs and you know that beautiful ladies come before Playstations.

Yeah but coke and crack are quite different. I would have been out of there fast if they were smoking crack.

I was going to say something about the car, but that story kinda pushed that thought out of my head.

The closest I have to that is when my father and I bought my Triumph. We do the deal and dude leans in uncomfortably close, pulls his hat down over his eyes, looks side to side with shifty eyes and says; "you come back after you unload the bike, you know where I live, (does another shady look around) we'll drink a few beeeers, smoke a leetle grasss".

I was fairly amused by that. Sounds like you got the better deal though.....more funds for rims.

EDIT: when you clean the car out I wouldn't be surprised if you found more goodies.

That AFM is brand new. He paid almost $400! for it. Had the receipt for it. What a moron.

you could easily part that car for more than $400. ellipsoids, plastic bumpers, dashboard, engine, tranny...

it just seems like way too much work to "fix it up", but hey if that is your cup of tea then by all means go for it.

oh and i think it would be a better idea to tow it with the front wheels on the ground, at least thats how AAA did it last time they towed my car.

That makes sense to me about the towing. I'm considering parting it out, but I don't know? I'd end up want to move the ellipsoids and bumpers to my other car at the very least. I may use it as practice for engine stuff.

When I got there the guy had been drinking. He offered me a drink and I said "I'll take a beer". He said he only had tequila and said he'd make me a drink and went inside. Then he came out and told me he didn't have any mixer so he literally took off running down the street. He came back and made some drinks and brought it out to me. I ended up crawling under the car and looking it over good. Then I started BS'ing with him and learned that he grew shrooms and sold them. He'd just harvested 3 pounds. I asked the process of growing them and he explained it. Around this time he decided my name was Kyle (my name is Eric which sounds nothing alike. Keep in mind we had talked on the phone about me coming to see the car about 4 times before this day and he always said "hi Eric" and "bye eric"). He also decided that we were best friends. So we're talking and I'm telling him what a piece of shit the car is and how no one would ever want it. I start talking him down in price and he tells me he can't go any lower. I tell him I can't buy the car then. Well he then tells me he can throw in a few double-stacks of ecstasy instead of lowering the price. I'm like "ummm ahhh? Like how many?" He said 5 of them and I said I don't know. Then he told me he could give me a gram of coke too. I change the subject for a bit and we go inside. He then proceeds to break out a bunch of E and coke. I notice he has capcoms greatest hits for the PS2 and I challenge him to a game of Street Fighter. He rails a bunch of coke and I kick his ass at street fighter. During the game play his GF calls him and says shes off work and needs to be picked up. I ask him if he needs to go and he says hes having fun and doesn't care. Well I beat him a bunch at street fighter and he jumps up and says something like "this is finished, you are the ultimate street fighter and there is no point in playing any more. Seriously man you are awesome. NOW for some FIFA SOCCER!!!!! *high five*" I say "don't you need to pick up your GF? It's already been a half hour". he shrugs and says "naw I want to play some FIFA". We start playing and I ask "doesn't this game take a long time?" which he replies "not really". So over an hour goes by and then he decides he should go get her. I tell him I'd really like the car but I'll only pay $400 and that I only have $100 on me. He says it's a deal. I give him the $100 bucks and he goes in the back room and gives me a couple grams of coke and says he'll give me the ecstasy the next day. I'm thinking "wtf!!?? I lowered the price hardcore and he's kicking down a bunch of shit". I'm like "ok thanks?" and take the shit and leave.

Next night I show up at around 11:30 at night and pick the car up. Moral of the story; the dude actually had a really hot gf. Must be a coke whore.
Story of the year. No question.

yeah that is sort of what i meant...kind of. you could either sell the stuff or use it on your other car. you basically bought every e30 part for $400 and now you can take what you want and part the rest or take what you want and trash it.

why dont you do the bumper swap to your other car and then put the diving boards on this one?
