Question...I noticed some welds around the strut towers, what was the rationale behind that?

Secondly, with all the work you are doing, why not solder the wires for the ABS you extended? Just curious.

Its seam sealer and it if from the factory like that.
Its there to keep moister out from the joints so they dont rust.

I really like your build up its very clean.
I like how the wiring is cleaned up.
And I hope all of your parts come soon.

I just wanted to be aware that one of the reasons those wires are tucked through the engine bay and not through the fender is for safety.

Out at Willow Springs raceway my local racetrack.
My buddies tire started to come apart at the seams literally
It tore the inner fender well and ripped away his engine harness.
He was able to maintain control of his car but still scary nonetheless.
I'm not criticizing you just want you to be aware.

Maybe keep the wiring how it is but add something to protect it.

I swear to god I go into a drooling fit every time I see you roll by.

Glad to see you got the new motor in, I'm looking forward to listening to your exhaust note as you blow past my slow ass.

Sure thing, let me know whens good.

She runs like a dream since I re-torqued the intake nuts and replaced all those gaskets. Idles a bit funny still, but no worse than any other e30 I've ever seen, and 200% better than before.

I'd still rather have your sedan :) You source that 5-speed yet?

So this is what I got in the last week or so.

M52 cam trays, lifters and cam caps.

Shaved, surfaced flywheel. Stock Sachs clutch. Might add a 6 puck into the mix. I dont know yet.

                            5 speed trans from a 91 M-tech vert.

Thanks a ton for Matt "Showstopper" for going with me to take this out. I would have died doing it alone.

Carbon Fiber engine and fuel rail covers.

Euro elips with just city lights.

I also got a 5 speed drive shaft.
Dustin "dp2275" just finished up my harness.
                            Misc gaskets showed up yesterday.
                            Euro gauge cluster.
Thats about it for now, I have to order a few more parts and more stuff is still coming like, S52 cams, Maf, TMS chip and injectors.
Also have a VEM's 3.3 coming for a future project.

                            Enjoy!!!...

Ok I took some photos outside today so you could see the motor better and see the wheels and the way she sits.

                                Here are them photos.

I know a lot of photos. Im a photo whore.

Anyways Matt and I put the trans in today and I know when using the 260 trans you have to cut the pass side of the mount and make it shorter and extend the other side and blah blah blah...
With the stock mount you can see it pushs the trans right up on the tunnel.
So here is what the stock mount look like with the 260 trans.

So instead of cutting up the stock mount I decided to make my own.
Thats right Jordan, I can make mounts too.
So anyways this is what it looks like.
Still need to grind the welds and paint it pink.

                                ENJOY~!~
