electrical gnarnious?????? HELP!
i just bought an 87' eta today charged my battery, drove it long enough to give it some juice and turned it off, i then gave the key a turn to roll up my windows and there was no power to the whole vehicle. charged it again and the windows wont roll up? is the battery not pulling enough cold cranking amps?

alright! i got it up and running. the juice from the battery was being drained from glove box light be on from the broken glove box. but any suggestions on schematics for the window wiring.Comment

Surprised no one has mentioned that the windows have a breaker on them that might be turned off.what you did to this car is like getting a supermodel naked and willing to do anything you please. now here you are faced with ths once in a lifetime opportunity and then you squander it by making her fuck you in the butt with a 24" strap on. you are a sad, silly little boy.Comment

See the read button on the dash with the black top...
That button will be your breaker if it looks like that then it is pushed out and needs to be pushed in so that you dont see red.
And last but least do what you should have already done, whip out the test light or power probe.

Apparently the previous owner pulled the radio out, plus a lot of the electrical buttons on the dash. Other than a bone yard where would be a cheap place to pick one up?Comment
