Okay so I recently found out my M42 is going to need some head work, but she is still driving here and there and recently just took her to Quebec, a 10 hour drive and she ran perfect besides the ticking sound of a diesel. She even got fitted for some Hellas... Ill post my armrest install and some night shots with the lights when I get back today. Enjoy!

Okay fella r3v members, I know this thread isn't interesting to most... but a few days ago the M42 kicked the bucket while i was on the parkway going home from my fiance's house. While doing around 80mph... all I heard was a large rattle and POOF everything shut down and black smoke came out from the hood... I had enough momentum to take the nearest exit, through the ez-pass, and down the off ramp... where Vikki rested before her AAA tow...

the irony of it all... it stopped dead infront of a BMW Dealer...

a fresh M42 is being shipped to my mechanic now... I just ordered a full H&R Race/BSport suspension and then I have a surprise shoe change for her afterwards...

I will keep everyone update on the progress, going to take the valve cover and manifold off tonight to get powdered coated, anyone have any ideas on color?

that's the bloomfield dealer, off the GSP exit 148.. it is ironic that the car died in front of the BMW dealer where her life began 18 years ago

But with the new engine, suspension and some wicked rims it will have a new lease on life, and it will be better then ever !

Well some goodies arrived today... one via truck freight and then traveled to the garage via my X5... the fresh M42, H&R Race Springs, and a set of Borbet As... just need to change the tires on the fronts but when I get home I will give everyone a teaser... let the swap begin!
