Erick, your enthusiasm is great and your drifting footage in inspiring. I wish there were a few more people local to you who could lend a hand with the technical work. It's tough for one person to do it all, especially in a nine day period. There are some real basic systems being rushed together here due to a currently unavoidable lack of time and resources.

Good luck at the competition, I'll be rooting for you.

I don't get how the M20 ECU can handle the extra liters. *shrugs* whatever works tho.

Whats up with your brakes? Maybe a clogged or bent line? tear in your booster diaphragm? I know someone who accidentally got brake fluid into his and caused all sorts of "not working" problems.

    pix?!

    2:40am

Just got home. Going to power nap for 3 hours. Definately running the car on the 173 ECU (the M20 one) since its the one that runs smoothest.

For whatever reason I lost all brakes.... or most of it. Going to look at it at the track tomorrow.

The car is running at a solid 50-60% right now. Very very rough, but as they say "run what you brung".

Today was fun as I drove the car around. I found massive leaks. Just about everything is leaking.

So I JB welded the radiator to hold me off (small leak).... used some "white shephard" which apparently stops rear main seals leaks (waiting to see how that'll go) and replaced all my PS lines.

The beauty of it all is that I just stripped the steering rack putting the last bolt for the last line. I might just have to not run P/S this event.

Time for lunch break. Make a few calls to source out an m30 ecu locally hopefully.

I can look at the P-N-P Sat morning. I think there was a late vert in the yard. I know there are a few e30s in the Naples yards but I haven't been out there just word spreading from fellow car enthusiasts.

    Fucking ebay chips.

I bought an ECU on the board here with an eBay chip. Out of curiosity since we couldnt find the cause for the misfiring and running like crap I plugged in the 325i 173 ECU.

    Car runs super smooth now.

Anyone here knows of a 173 ECU in FL?

What steering are you using to get that much angle?

Long day.... running on 6 is kinda sketchy. It's 2:17am and I'm massive tired. Gotta be back at the shop before 9am. Just working out details right now as well as finishing the exhaust (almost done), finished driveshaft, wiring fan, etc.

Leaving one picture as a teaser of some new stuff. Got angle? :)
