If I won't be satisfied with the brake power of the e39 caliper and mini rotors, I will install e46 330i brakes(caipers+rotors). They fit perfectly in my 16's because BBS has a "motorsport" shape of inner rim. This is super minimal gap with inner rims and spokes, but it works)
If I were you I will go this way, because your problem is the small X-factor of the rim(distance from the hub mounting surface to the back of the wheel spokes). E39 caliper is very big and i thinks it won't fit with rc090's. E46 330i caliper is narrower than e39 and you will have more chances to install it with your rims without any spacers.
Here is the photos of 330i brakes in my rims.

Thank you so much man for the help
I was thinking about the same (330i) because the clearance between the caliper and the wheel is really small and scary :(
here are some photos of my setup (after grinding the caliper) a little
I don't need big brake power because I still have the m42 engine and not planing to swap (because it is illegal in California)

my question is the caliper carrier or bracket bolts distance is the same for E46 330i and m3 because if not then I need to make a new bracket for the 330i here is a photo to explain what I am talking about

Distance is the same, but to when we were installing m3 brakes to e46 330i knuckle we had to mill the surface where carrier bolts are tighten( like on the photos)
So if i you want to install 330i brakes with m3 adapters you need to use some washers to align the carriers(maybe, i can't say for sure because didn't test or build this set-up)

FYI the e46 328i calipers also fit and are a little smaller, while still being a lot bigger than e30 brakes. I have no problem fitting mine into 16"s.

THANKS for the information, what adapter you are using for the front to fit the 328i caliper?
