No, the manifold is mirrored, you'll need an industrial strength discriminating component adjusting mirror to adjust the part, none of that ʇɥɓᴉǝɹꓞ ɹoqɹɐH stuff.

Hey, what’s going on in here...?...

So, I had some silly ideas running around in my head and one of them went full steam ahead and originally the plan was just to get the correct 2002 ECU Celica 2ZZ ECU and a Celica CARB legal intake, but I also bumped my FS threads and actually got a buyer for my 1ZZ mid pipe. Well, I guess I’m going forward with all the BAR legal changes. 2002 ECU ordered, 2001 ECU sold. 1ZZ mid pipe sold and as I was about to order the midship garage I had to pump the brakes with a surprise. Learning about the differences about the intakes on the installation kinda prepped me for more surprises, and today I got another one... let’s pause for some pics.

    Before.

    After.

Seemed like what I expected knowing I needed to clearance the subframe but then the surprise. Internet High 5 to whoever spots it...

I like to tell myself that he doesn't really care what we think, which I hope is true, but that he probably enjoys being razzed about it.

I hope to never have to paint a bumper again. I basically did it as a punishment to myself for getting myself into that situation...

You looked so glum in the first part of your recent video. Just think, now you can move on to another project to struggle through, but not because you're stupid, but because you are a car enthusiast, and that's what we do.

Also, get yourself some no hole hook and loop sanding pads for something like a DA sander, they're the best for detail hand sanding like that.

Honestly this car is fantastic. 2200lbs being pushed by a 180bhp Yamaha motor and 6gears. It’s biggest downfall is that CA smog is a nightmare. I made a few mistakes in building the swap that could’ve helped me make it CA legal but even then they always make it a pain even when you try to do things the right way.

Fun sub-plot, I still have a few pieces to do a k-swap. As for now, it’s just time to enjoy driving it... whenever I get the chance.
