    Auto Amour e30 build

Hello guys decided to make a build of my very first bmw. Before I get into the car I’ll get into a little bit about myself. I am from New Jersey and have built other cars. Mainly Honda’s. ls ek hatch, Fa5 civic si sedan full bolt ons and tune, K20a2 swapped ep3, s2000 that was set up for the road course , a 74 datsun 260z that was a mild resto-mod and lastly a fk8 civic type r that currently has bolts on e85 at about 400whp. also have a bolted b9 s4 that’s a ton of fun. the title states “auto amour e30”. AUTO AMOUR is a brand that I made about year ago. I curate all things automotive and make cut and sew clothing. Please check out the website as I am doing a summer sale at the moment to clear some inventory to get ready for the fall/ winter 20/21 collection which will be my first collection! - ————————————-

I have lurked for many years on r3vlimited lusting at all the beautiful e30s that the site has to offer. I have always been on the lookout for e30 but never really prioritized it. recently a neighbor of mine had a 91 318 that was just sitting for some time and he knew I was always into cars and just asked if I wanted it. One thing lead to another and I am the proud owner of a red 318 :) I can’t wait to share my journey with auto amour and the e30 on this site and look forward to networking with you all :). (Posted this from a phone, will post some photos later on tonight)

After getting the vehicle I had to replace the starter and battery asap since the car was sitting so long.

tried doing a minor detail a few days later.

Taken (7/26/20) while pulling into the parking lot looks decently clean here.

Next up are changing the brakes and all fluids. Will be taking it to buddies shop this week.

*SIDE BAR* having some issues uploading some high quality images. seems like the image quality was lost while uploading. any tips?

Just dropped the car off to get front/ rear pads+ rotors done. as well as all fluids changed.
Also getting an inspection to see what else the car needs to run properly. assuming shocks and springs as an obvious.

This is at hybrid motors over in fairfield NJ.

What are you using to upload the pics? You can use the upload attachment feature or host them yourself using Flickr or something like that

Whats the plan for the 318? K-swap?

was the using the attachment feature, but i will try flickr for the next post hopefully better quality or im just lost in the sauce lol.

Looking to make the car as solid as possible with suspension and other little bits.

as for the motor debating between a s50 and i toy with the idea of a k swap but I do like the idea of having an M heart in the car. I guess as time goes on we will see.
