    Repairing my Brilliantrot E30

Hey, guys. I have a 1990 325i which I have owned for 4 years now. 2 years into ownership I did some dumb stuff and took it "off roading" and something ended up hitting the bottom of the car and tore off the oil pan and the bottom of the engine. I towed it home, and it has been sitting in the garage since. I bought an E28 to replace it, and a few weeks ago I bought another E30 and sold the E28. I was planning on selling this red E30 as well, but changed my mind last minute and decided to try repairing it with my dad.

So far this is what I know it needs:
    -Engine
    -Rad support
    -Steering rack
    -Front valance
    -a few other minor things

This is pretty new to both me and my dad, and we will be learning as we go.

So far we removed most of the body parts in the front, and we are waiting for a spot weld cutter drill bit to come in, in order to remove the rad support. It sucks that it needs to be replaced, but taking the engine out an putting a new one seems a lot easier with the rad support out.

Good luck with the repair. Where are you located? I know someone parting an e30 with some of the panels you need in the correct color.

Hey man, thanks. I’m in NJ. I would definitely be interested if he isn’t too far.

He's just outside of Washington DC. Might be worth a trip. I sent the seller a link to this thread.
