i live in England but i shipped my US 325e back home to England with me. in order for it to pass our MOT i need RHD lights fitted and the "city lights" to work. so i have a full set of bosch smileys as they are easily available here but just need to wire them all in and i don't want to hack a load of stuff up.

thanks for the information, going to give it a go when i am next in the garage!
good luck! its a lot easier than it seems. there's tons of write ups on wiring and getting the city lights to function properly. I just dont care for them enough to get them working yet, though i do have the plugs and wires ready to go for the day i decide to do it.

went up angeles crest highway today and snagged a pic with the smiley headlights and the euro grills!

      surprise!
the te37's arrived! a lot earlier than expected!

threw the car up on jack stands, removed the wheels, bolt checked the car, got tires swapped over and boom! mounted!

needless to say... im in love

they are TE37 Sonic SL in 16x8 +24
still running 10mm spacer up front and 15mm in the back

also went ahead and did a photoshoot with a bunch of buddies yesterday

no real update here.. just some more pics. ive just been enjoying the car every chance i get.

not sure if or when this will happen, but the new gr86 has grown on me as a simple, effective car that will have huge potential. its been seriously tempting me to sell the e30 to jump into one...
