Alright, so the draft is around the corner, and the 2009 NFL schedule was released today. I think this calls for a 2009 thread.

The Eagles have a very tough schedule. It looks like we will be going 11-5 and winning the NFC East...again.

At Washington, Vs. NYG, Vs. Cowboys, At SD. Thats brutal in the middle of the season. If we dont go 5-0 or 4-1, it could be a bad season.

For the draft. Rumor has it that we are going to trade our two first round picks to get a top pick, picking Eugene Monroe. I think Id be much happier taking Michael Oher and Knowshown Moreno or Beanie Wells, whichever one is left. Id also like to pull off a draft day trade, and maybe give up that second round pick and get my boy Braylan Edwards (Michigan).

Hows your team's schedule looking? Colts fans must be happy. Easiest fucking schedule ever.

The Texans' schedule looks good. 2 MNF games - though one is preseason. With virtually no change in the offense and all efforts aimed towards improving the defense I can confidently predict a playoff berth this season.

my thoughts...

-Buffalo has made a couple decent additions and one future HOFer (T.O!!!) to the roster, but they still have Dick Jauron at the helm.

-They need to get a DE (E. Brown) in the first round but I can see them going TE (pettigrew) as well. Hopefully we trade J. Peters to philly for one of their 1st rounders and we get Oher(LT) and Brown in the first round.

-The Bills need to work on their pass rush. With a healthy Aaron Schobel we should be better though.

-Marshawn Lynch has a 3 game suspension that might get reduced to 2, but Fred Jackson is a solid backup (136 yds rushing vs NE last year). plus he is a great check down reciever. We have a solid running game.

-With T.O. and Lee Evens we are in the top 3 or 5 receving corps in the NFL. Only NE has a better one in our division. A dynamic offense paired with our running game.

-Trent Edwards is in his make or break 3rd season, the season when QB's are supposed to come into their own. my prediction: 3200 yards, 20 TD's, 12 INT. Can he stay healthy though?

wk2: vs TB W(1-1) going to this game so it better be a win! BUF by 7
wk3: vs NO W(2-1) Defense will be the decider, will be close, BUF by 3
wk4: @ MIA L(2-2) I don't think Miami was a fluke, MIA by 6
wk5: vs CLE W(3-2) They are in the rebuilding phase, BUF by 12
wk6: @ NYJ W(4-2) No QB, coles is gone, this will be easy. BUF by 10
wk7: @ CAR L(4-3) Carolina will probably run all over us CAR by 9
wk8: vs HOU W(5-3) Up and coming team, could be close, BUF by 6
wk9: BYE
wk10: @ TEN L(5-4) Solid O-line, we will get no pass rush, TEN by 9
wk11: @ JAX W(6-4) Will their line be healthy?, BUF by 6
wk12: vs MIA W(7-4) They won't sweep us this year, BUF by 6
wk13: vs NYJ W(8-4) Will be on their second QB by now, BUF by 14
wk14: @ KC W (9-4) We put up 54 last year, Cassel will be exposed with that KC line. BUF by 24
wk15: vs NE L(9-5) It's New England, NE by 10
wk16: @ ATL W(10-5) This will be another close game, hopefully we can generate turnovers, BUF by 3
wk17: vs IND L(10-6) Peyton Manning is the best QB in the league. But by now they should have clinched a playoff berth and could be resting starters, IND by 3

10-6 should get us a wild card spot, or we may wind up 7-9 for the 4th year in a row. Who knows it's the NFL and it's never predictable.

3) Miami Dolphins (has the hardest schedule in the league)
4) New York Jets

The difficulty of schedule for the AFC south is all middle of the pack. The eagles have a pretty rough schedule IMO.

Im an Eagles fan... TO is a piece of shit. Hes a piece of shit, but a first ballot hall of famer. Just by his numbers alone hes a hall of fame player, but the worst teammate ever. ETA, dont get too excited about him. Trent Edwards is by far the worst QB who will ever throw TO the ball. He hasnt been happy yet, why would he all of a sudden be now? HE will probably be on his best behavior, though, since hes 1 and done. Hes going to be playing for one more big pay day after this year. Hes still a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles ass piece of shit, though.

Anquan Boldin has OFFICIALLY hit the trade block today. Rumors are it will take a first and a third to get him. I say go for it! -Yeah I know Trent Edwards hasn't broken out yet, but i wouldn't say he is that far behind Tony Romo for his second season (Romo was outstanding in 2007 though). But consider that Romo had a real tight end to throw to and T.O (;)) on his team. Trent Edwards has shown some pure brilliance (the San Diego game) and some utter failure (the Cleavland game). Regardless I think it will be interesting. But considering you say T.O will be playing for a big payday after this one year contract, we should expect some good numbers.

- I realize T.O is a sensitive subject for Philly fans, but ask Buffalo fans how they feel about Willis Mcgahee. Same shit, different town.

-Philly would be pretty dominant with Boldin, you guys are receiver dry. I'm still hoping the J. Peters rumors are true and Philly has some interest. But if not Oher would be good for either team. In the end though who cares how each others teams do unless were facing each other in the Super Bowl... amiright?

I am actually not butt-hurt over TO. He is THE best receiver McNabb had pleasure throwing to. I don't think TO would get into HoF simply because of his attitude. What team would want to be the inducting team for him (maybe Buffalo)? OJ put up incredible numbers, but he won't be hitting HoF either, because of personal conduct.



If Eagles can get Boldin AND Peters, we don't even need draft, and Eagles have draft picks to make those trades work, along with salary cap.

Slightly OT but, WHERE THE FUCK IS MY STEERING WHEEL??? I paid jflip $350 for a steering wheel and airbag last week, i havent even gotten an email from him with any type of info at all.
