Great car! I've got an older scoob that I love to death; they're really good cars.

Snow + Subaru AWD + studded winter tires = criminally entertaining mayhem

Subarus are great we got an outback sport for my wife. It's actually really fun to drive (5-spd ftw) and handles surprisingly well.

Subarus always manage to turn my head when i pass one on the road, and i agree that the new Legacy is awesome. i'm starting to look more and more at Japanese cars myself. i changed the oil in a twin turboed rx7 the other day... What a wicked car. Any car i get must be rwd; though, there might a couple of exceptions...

needs a huge drop, exhaust, front mount, remap and some amazing wheels then just call it a day.

When I was driving up and down to VT this past winter in the ix, it seemed like it was me and subarus on the road. Oh yeah, and snow plows.

Seriously considering one for my wife as she has had enough of the minivan.

No, it does not. You do that and it will fuck up the handeling. There is a reason you can only find 1.5'' drop springs and so on for them. Its not a VW or a BMW. Research Jeff and you will further understand what I am talking about. I am not going to dive into a Subaru battle of info on a BMW forum.

Otherwise, awesome car! You are going to be very happy with it, as will your wife.

Forester STi in the US? Unless it was imported, probably not since they were never sold here. However, there are some sick Foresters out there, definitely would not mind one for a DD, modded of course!

funny, I'm selling my WRX and replacing it with the 325ix I just bought. Subaru's are really great cars and I do love the WRX, but the E30's got so much more character. I've only had it 5 days and I'm already in love with it. haha

My cousin has a 300whp 98 Impreza outback wagon, full STI drivetrain swap, STI interior, and lots more. One of my best friends has an 07 WRX. He's already talking about buying an E30 now that's he's seen mine. :D
