    Oops 2003.

I still write 19** on checks as well. At any rate I'll be in court in 5 and 1/2 hours.

Well I am home from court.

Thank god (or evolution by natural selection) that drug addiction is a "progressive disease" because the crazy lady has lost her edge.

Her petition read like the rantings of an inpatient depicted in a B film.

I prevailed (so far) and the kids remain in my full custody.

        /my rant (ish)

She was pretty pathetic. She just didn't make any sense at all and she looks 20 years older than she is.

It would have made me feel sad for her if I didn't still hate her so much.

Wow, divorce really bites and the play just goes on and on and on. My parents divorce took 7 years of fighting in the courts and another twenty of pure hate toward one another. Any way you look at it, it just isn't pretty!

i went thru this shit about 19 years ago. i spent enough money in court to almost put both of my kids through college and i lost. and then after i lost my ex wife said "ok, you can have custody". to this day i will never understand her. regardless keep your head up and do the right thing for your kids at any cost. 20 years later they will recognize what you did and thank you for it
