Help Me Get a Scholarship

I am in school full time at ITT-Tech, and as you all know school costs a small forturne. I dont have anyone paying it for me other than a little GI Bill from my time in the military.

I am registered as a candidate on the website www.collegenet.com They give a scholarship away once a week, and I know it is not a scam because my girlfriend has already won. The #1 vote recipient each week wins, and winners are not eligible again for a year. I got #3 last week and am asking you all to help me win this Wednesday.

That is why you have to give a cell phone number. They send you an authorization code and a vote code to your cell by SMS (normal text message). You can only have one account per cell phone number - this prevents people making bots to vote for themselves.

Therein lies the scam. They are logging cell phone numbers and profiles to sell to mass marketers. Common practice, and they avoid the "Do Not Call" list because you opt-in. Great way to get lots of e-mails, snail mail, and phone calls about your extended warranty on your car at 3 AM.

Well i have been on for 3 weeks now and i know people that have been on alot longer than that. and i havent had any harassing calls or junk mail.

I havnt used my GI bill but its pretty disappointing to see its letting you down.

The word scholarship pisses me off. I went through all of college without getting a single penny, and I applied for everything I could find. So I had to work 50 hrs/wk while being a full time student to pay for that shit since I don't get help from my parents, and I'll be paying until I'm 45+. All because my parents make decent money, so I don't qualify for most scholarships. Meanwhile, some assclown who doesn't give a fuck and who's parents pay for their education gets all kinds of free money. Fuck.
