    you got here too late.

i think the iphone is a very business like phone. just because it is thin, plays music and games, isn't boring and looks cool doesnt mean it isnt businesslike. the email system is awesome as well as the calendar, and if there is something missing there are thousands of free applications to fill that void. and finally, in june/early july they will release the updated software which allows you to type in landscape mode for emails and texts, instead of just in the browser.

I got an iphone for free. It's nice, i wouldn't shell out $399 for it however, too buggy (when jailbroken). I'm increasingly attracted to blackberrys though

iPhone is fine for work use, plus it's a cool gadget that does a bunch of other stuff.

The touch screen keys take a little practice but it only takes a little bit of time to get used to them.

            I paid $199.00 for my refurbed 16GB

Seriously. Lots of hyped info in here.

You'll like the iPhone and I very much doubt you'll disappointed with your purchase. Can't go wrong. And to be honest, they hold their value so well you could probably sell it for at least what you paid for it if not more.

Iphones hold their value like any other popular smart phone out there.

Oh, and they are blowing iphones out because of the massive amounts of refurbs they have in stock now.
                :)
Someones shit had to break for you to get that phone.

My friend at Apple says most of the refurbs are phones that have been dropped and the screens cracked.

Refurbs get a new battery, a new LCD screen, new PC board and are tested and inspected more thoroughly then a new phone.

Mine looks exactly like new and came with the standard box and packaging just like a new phone but cost $199 instead of $299

The 8GB refurb is only $99 with a 2 year contract from ATT

2 months of use so far and not a hiccup.

With electronics, if something is going to fail, it usually fails in the first few weeks.

Just got a Tmo G1. Love it. Most good applications are free and android OS seems bulletproof. The QWERTY keyboard is awesome. Just my two cents.

Ok.....the cell phone rumor mill has been abuzz with chatter about some kind of new iPhone. Apple historically releases new/revised products during the month of June - so what is coming to market next month? I've already read a lot about the 3.0 software that's going to be rolled out. But what about a new device?

so far a 3.2MP, perhaps autofocus, camera appears to be a possible upgrade. not much else has been rumored in terms of hardware. i hope they put 2 cameras in it, one on each side so you can a)video chat with skype and b) take self portraits. maybe they'll add a flash. i am guessing there will be a 32gb model as well as the 8gb and 16gb. I can't really think of much else they could add... bluetooth 3.0 was just announced but i don't think it is going to be in any devices yet. hopefully they will upgrade the wireless card to achieve faster internets via wifi. i guess they could also upgrade the GPS to function more precisely for turn by turn directions (maybe a louder speaker, also). Lastly, some are clamoring for a higher resolution screen. currently it is 480x320, so they could theoretically upgrade that to 720x480.

                            k im done.

As well you should, that's what my girlfriend originally bought and took it back two weeks later to get an iPhone.

Now call your insurance company and get a Personal Articles Policy (or whatever your company calls it) for your phone. Will cover it against anything except failure, in which case you "lose it" or "accidentally" drop it on the ground and watch the screen shatter.

I have mine and my girlfriends 16gb iPhones insured through State Farm for retail (since we'd have to buy it out of contract) for $6 a month.

                                I have a question.

I bought the enterprise email system from ATT. According to the site, this gives me the ability to log into my intranet. So, in my outlook I have 40 rules set up that filter certain emails into folders. I have my folder saved on a shared drive so that I may access my emails from any PC within my company. With my Iphone and enterprise email will I be able to access these files or will I be limited to what's available on the exchange server?
