Thanks guys. I wanted to get the iphone but my bro, his gf, and I are getting a plan together and he wants to stay with verizon. I also get a 20%+ discount through verizon, hence why we are staying with verizon.

I called them and verified, any and all PDAs/smartphones you must have the email/web no matter what. I asked about just using my q and they said I wasn't able to transfer it over w/o getting the email/web...I've had it for 4 years and haven't had the plan

They told me the same thing whe I got my motoq. But then said I could just do the pay per use web plan and it would cost me a thing.... what a frickin LIE. If I texted pics it went on the web plan.

I have the LG Voyager and it's good. It's like a freakin brick so it doesn't really brake either.

I have one of the very first ones...my upgrade comes in a few months and I cannot have one without full QWERTY. The BB Storm is cool but I use my friend's quite often and I hate the touch QWERTY. I can use it just as well, but I like having physical buttons!

i bought a palm treo (for verizon) off ebay for maybe 80 bucks used. and didnt resign up with them for the 2 year contract b.s. and i love my phone. its kinda big and bulky but its nice being able to watch movies and music when i get bored somewhere. its pretty nice having word and bein able to have any ringtone i want from mp3s i add to the phone too.

id look at a treo for sure man, id recommend the phone to anyone who doesnt mind a big sized phone

env2. it does everything i need it to do and more. ..the large external buttons work well if your used to t9 or word for quick/blind texting. the internal has great placement for most everything, when do you need something more than a 2mp cam without knowing ahead of time to bring a real cam anyways? its a great phone/texting unit. ...and it comes in all black with gun-metal chrome trim (which does eventually go, my brother's went quick, mine's holding strong, a friend's looks brand new still. what more could you ask? cheap, good functionality, durable, doesn't look f'n retarded. go to a store and mess with one for a few, you'll end up buying it.

My chrome trim on my LG Voyager starting going...I heard they "fixed" that problem with the new ones but mine started flaking off in the first few months...I picked the rest off and now its black and white. People ask "huh what type of Voyager is that? It has white trim!" "It's the special edition Panda Voyager. I got it because my mom is Chinese." "Dude that's awesome!" These people never realize I'm kidding.

I have the Voyager, I love it. The GF has an Env2, these 2 are very similar, as far as fetures go. The Voyager offers a larger internal screen.

I have the Env2, it's been through hell. I lost it in the snow, and it got returned to me three weeks later. I've dropped it probably 40 times in the year I've owned it and it's still perfect, aside from my M key, which is intermittent. I have the HIGHEST length to width ratio thumbs you will ever see. They're like 1.25" wide and I have no trouble pushing the correct keys on the qwerty.

So Verizon guy asked me for a $1600 security deposit..because I don't have "established" credit. Although I find that funny since the utility, insurance, renters companies have said I have a fantastic credit score. I just ordered a report today.

Sorry dude if it's not GSM I can't help too much. And yes the E71 is pretty wicked. Only downer for me is the camera. 3.15 Megapixel vs 5.0 Megapixel on the N79 for example. The N79 also takes VGA video at 30 fps vs the QVGA at 15 fps for the E71. The N79 doesn't have a keyboard though. So what's more important?
