    Porsche 997 GT3 X Dodge Viper GT3 - Nürburgring

I know there is a youtube thread, I thought this deserved it own..

The driver of the Viper was Dirk Riebensahm a 42yo German. He started racing very late in 2000 running through Renault Megane and Clio Cup´s, since 2006 he race the Ring with Viper... first with the Zakspeed Viper GTS and since last year with the Viper Competition Coupe GT3.

That Porsche was not in the same race class than the Viper...

    The Viper runs SP9 GT3.
The Porsche in the video # 714 runs in the Cup3 class, this Porsche reached a best lap (northloop +GP track) 8:52.080min during that race...
The fastest Porsche 997 (8:27min)running in the same class than the Viper was 11seconds faster than the Viper (8:38min)

lulz at the 993 going high on the karussell...he had to get around those noobs. Great racing. The driver of the viper had a shit load of patience and seemed like a confident driver.
          tasty

Interesting how it seemed like the Viper would pass on the straights but run out of juice on the top end and the Porsche was able to maintain a better line and keep his lead.

                      great driving on both parts

I liked how somewhere in the middle of the video, the lambo tried to be competitive between both cars and on one of the the turn the viper just left him in the dust

nice driving. favorite part was 9:20, when you think the viper pulls away from the gt3... only to see the gt3 pull past on the left.
