The new engines dont sound bad....... It's just they dont have a decent aftermarket exhaust yet.

As for him joining the WRC.... Subaru has fallen out of competition.... its been a few years since Subaru has really shown any competition in the WRC... Capable drivers, they've also been sparse, but there have been a few. The biggest thing is wrecks usually plague the Subaru team until they're out of cars or out of time.
Rally America, Ken Block is very competitive if I remember right, but I haven't followed that in over a year.

Either way, hes an AMAZING driver, hes a very stand-up guy, and just a good natured dude. Started a successful business, and now has the funding to do as he pleases... If any of you were in his situation, would you appreciate having shit talked toward you lol?

Also, for those saying its boring... eh, yeah, it wasn't my favorite... Its still a good display of driving. Search for some of his other stuff, like snow lab 1.5 or something like that?... They shipped a car to finland for him to tear it up on the side of a mountain with the DC sponsored snowboarders lol... I like that vid

If you had the same amount of cash as Block and you really had the drive to learn, you could.
It's good driving but nothing any other race/rally driver couldn't do.

The DC mtn. lab is in Utah. That is where he drove his sti all over the hill and that is a sik video!

The only reason they do well in Rally America is because MOST of the participants in RA are not backed by a factory team, thus the money mostly comes out of their own pockets. If I was in RA and was backed by a factory team, I'd push the hell out of the car and if I crash, so what? I just get a new one for the next stage. As for Block/Pastrana being in WRC, they tried to run with the big boys a few stages last year and did horrible, they simply cannon keep pace with the vets like Loeb, Hirvonen and the bunch. As for Subaru not being competitive, BS, look at Marcus Gronholm's entry in Rally de Portugal this season, HE WAS COMPETING FOR THE LEAD, before he wrecked, so that goes to show you how capable the new STI is in the right hands. I think I covered it all.
