The guy would have never shoot them if the teens didn't attempt to commit the crime.

    They brought it on themselves.

the kid got what he deserved. i am a pro-gun person. you shoot to kill. the mans life was indangered. i will empty my clip into a human before they get close enough to take away my firearm. the person pointed a lethal weapon at this man, and he responded with deadly force to preserve his life. selfe defense. nuff said.

Taught him a lesson better than his mother EVER did. I bet that ski mask wearing kid doesn't try that shit again. Honestly, if you think you are hard you will eventually find someone who is harder and will pump you full of lead.

The pharmacy employee is just a product of his environment. How many times does someone have to put up with theft/crime before developing a mentality of "these fuckers deserve to die, and I hope they rot in hell"

Maybe there should be a law, 1st time you get robbed, you should ask the robber nicely to reconsider what he is doing, 2nd time you are allowed to pull out a bat and waive it around in a threatening manner(but not use it), 3rd time you should be allowed to shoot him and skin him in front of his wife and daughter while he's still alive.

But what the fuck do I know.

When the cops show up, you gotta make sure your side of the story is the only side they get to hear.

    Wow, just wow.

Over kill, yes. You shoot until they don't move, if the kid wasn't moving then the old guy was in the wrong. But to go get another gun and return I dunno, I can only say I wouldn't have done that.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma City pharmacist convicted of murder says being behind bars is like being in hell.

Jerome Ersland told The Oklahoman newspaper when he heard last week's guilty verdict, he knew he was doomed forever.

Ersland plans to appeal his first-degree murder conviction for shooting Antwun Parker during a 2009 pharmacy robbery.

Security video showed Ersland shooting Parker five more times after he was knocked unconscious from an original gunshot wound.

Parker's family is suing Ersland for wrongful death.

True, but I don't think it's the victims job to wait around and see if the other robber is going to use lethal force as well.

Don't jump me because of the facts and the law...
the first shot was in defense,
all the rest were additional after the fact, because the suspect was already incapacitated...manslaughter at the least...
color has nothing to do with it....
I have nothing to do with it but the law is very clear...
First shot he was in fear for his life...no problem
he then felt safe enough to walk away and then return..(no longer life threatening)
the next shots became the murder/manslaughter shots...
probably done out of anger not fear...
A fly on the wall might have heard something like this
"yeah, look at you now M*therF*cker, who is shooting who now?!!!"
This is clearly anger not fear...
Just because someone makes you mad doesn't give you the right to shoot them...

Ok now that we have that cleared up.

Was the kid trying to recover his weapon, or reach for another one????? We have no way to determine that (unless more has come out on this I have lost track) if so that = treat and there for the subsequent shots justified and there for no prosecution. But if there was no threat then yes it looks very bad for him,.

And he should have RELOADED AND PUMPED 7 or 8 more into him.
