As for Audi: One of the R15s missed his line at about minute 11 and got into the gravel and barely nudged the tire wall. No real structural/mechanical damage, but he had to stay in his car and wait for a tow to get him back out so he lost a lot of time.
Peugeot had a real shot at gaining on Audi but decided to play demolition derby in the pits.Comment

It might have been a stupid move with both Pugs at the start, but Audi has been having an atrocious day today. The #3 Team Joest R15 TDI has been in the pits for nearly (if not well over) an hour, and Lucas Luhr just had a nice shunt (suffice to say the car is done) in the #2 Audi Sport NA R15. Such a shame, I was really hoping to see a solid battle in LMP 1 today between the two superpowers (not to mention AMR Lola who are doing surprisingly well!) but now it all lies on the #1 Audi Sport NA car currently being piloted by Tom K.
Anyone see that hit between the AMR Lola (#009) and the Radical AER (LMP 2)? One of the LMP 1 Audi's was right behind the Aston and the Aston appeared to try to block the Audi and ran right into the Radical! As much of an Aston fan as I am, that was a stupid move, and they should have at least received a drive-through penalty. That being said, they are currently in P46 after struggling with electrical problems, it sucks to see though, such a good looking car IMO.
