Tool is one of my all time favorites. So many amazing songs in addition to this one. I love their willingness to use unconventional time signatures and unconventional styles, to think outside the box.

Huh? I saw them last year I think it was in Spokane and it was the greatest show ever.. I was front row GA, about 10ft away from the band. Pushing was so intense for the first 20 minutes I thought there was a possibility I might die, but I didn't care because the concert was so fucking awesome. Will see them next time they come to WA for sure.Comment

So what was the explanation for such bitchery?
I'm a big Tool fan, however, every album has more "ambient noise," which I am not a fan of. I don't need to hear 9 minutes of weird sounds and no rocking between each song.
The latest album has too much of the ethereal sounding BS.
