Education Lvl or e30 drivers

Tried to get a B.S. in Industrial Design, washed out after 2 years (Had the option of repeating soph. year, but I'm not too eager to cough up 30k to retake classes I've already passed). Consolation prize is an Associates in Applied Technology.

Currently taking a year off from school to re-arrange my life. Looking for work at the moment. In the past I've been a Diesel Mechanic, Retail Salesman, Road Construction Laborer.

Education wise, I'm looking into B.S. Engineering programs, as digging ditches is a young man's game and fighting time is a losing fight. Also, my right wrist has a screw and 2 pins in it with one more surgery in the future, so having one's hands and back as his only source of income is now a somewhat sketchy proposition.

I start undergrad this fall, pre-med with a german major. For the time being I work in patient transport at a hospital and I volunteer as an EMT.

I also just turned 18 this May and finally got to register republican, woo woo.

I have an associates in journalism (wrote for an automotive cooling mag for a year), some secondary education classes (high school science) and now currently finishing up my BSN. If I would have focused I could have been a damn doctor, but I took a year off to run pit crew for an SCCA pro touring team (didn't make a dime, but had a BLAST) and spent way too much time snowboarding....
