Is the T-Mobile SideKick a decent phone for $70?

I have no knowledge of what's good and what's bad. eBay has new, unlocked SideKicks for $70 shipped. Is this a good price?

    TIA,
    Mark

I'm sure this is last year's model (debuted in June '07), not the latest one. Do you still recommend it?

They still make these phones? I remember when these were the hot shit like four years ago.

Apparently. A new version was recently released.

Nevermind - the SideKick ID doesn't have a camera.

Sidekicks are solid. I had the SK color, SK2, SK3, and I was pleased with them all. The Sidekick ID is the lower end version of the Sidekick LX, basically without some of the flashiness. For $70, if you need a solid phone, Id say pick it up. I'd give em a 7.5 out of 10.

Thanks bro. The camera thing is a deal breaker; for some reason my wife must have a camera on her phone. If it were for me, I would roll with it (I am still using a Samsung I bought in May of 2005, it doesn't have BT, speaker phone, a camera, MP3 compatibility, or anything else. It's just a phone).
