    GENIUS!!!

    Russia's energy giant Gazprom has signed a $2.5bn (£1.53bn) deal with Nigeria's state operated NNPC, to invest in a new joint venture.

    The new firm, to be called Nigaz, is set to build refineries, pipelines and gas power stations in Nigeria.

                  It is similar situation with words in different languages:

                  Faca (Fahkuh) in Portuguese is a knife. My mom asked my father for this a bit too loud in a restaurant when I was a kid, and everyone ended up looking at us a little weird.

                  Some country's words are other countries jokes. :)

                      Holy shit. Maybe I get one one of their pipeline or refinery or compressor stations jobs over there and that way I can put on my resume that I worked for a company called Nigaz

                                              Ya, but every major corporation, especially if it's international, has a team that specifically researches the company's proposed name to ensure it doesn't end up sounding stupid or offensive to anyone. I guess you could say Nigaz's team failed miserably.
