Got me a new toy today!

So not too long ago my friends finally got me to borrow a bicycle to check out some scenic area's @ Fort Tilden (in Rockaway, NY). I forgot how much fun it was to ride and so I decided to go get one today :)

Its a Trek 7.1 FX, didn't want anything too expensive but wanted it to be reasonably comfortable and light. The matte black was also pretty kick ass.

Anyway, here's to crappy pics :)

Neat bike, I'm not well-versed on the hybrid bikes (MTB FTW) but it sounds like a neat idea for an urban environment.

Matte Black plus dschwarz will look HOT hehe. Yeh I tried out a roadbike around the neighborhood and found it a bit too uncomfortable to ride because our roads are so excellent. At the bike shop I tried another roadbike just to see if there would be any difference and still found the hybrid to be better suited to the city. I'm pretty happy about the purchase. I figure down the line I will buy something more aggressive but will take it places where I can actually enjoy it!
