I've seen some of the early hardware first hand (well, thru a glass wall - it was in a massive clean room) - and I've met some of the guys that make the mechanism that expand the solar cells. Really smart guys.

Amazing stuff. Shuttle launch in a few hours, 7pm Eastern.

Scrubbed for today because of a thunderstorm coming in.

If there was an failure in one of the booster rockets, it could affect what is called RTLS(return to launch site)
