I've seen some of the early hardware first hand (well, thru a glass wall - it was in a massive clean room) - and I've met some of the guys that make the mechanism that expand the solar cells. Really smart guys.

Amazing stuff. Shuttle launch in a few hours, 7pm Eastern.
