only if you've been playing it on live. Don't play games early on live. after they are released play the burned ones on there as much as you want.

and it depends how your xbox is modded. one way to do it is to flash the firmware of the dvd drive so it doesn't look for the copyright protection- supposedly an untraceable method of modding.

if i didn't care so much about having the actual disc, case, manual, etc, i would probably burn games, but part of video gaming for me is the collector aspect.

a friend of mine has his modded so i know a bit about it. i just laugh when he gets a bad .iso and wastes a dual layer DVD :D



on another note- wooooo cod6! will be picking up my copy tonight since i am working the midnight launch at work (blockbuster) but probably wont play for another month until i'm done writing my thesis!

I am really tired of the war theme and FPS insanity fad that has been going on for years. But happy that games like these with strong narrative come out and prove me wrong about the mindless FPS genre.

IW has the best scripted events I have ever witnessed. Can't wait to get that running on my projector come Weds (bought through Gamefly as a "used" game with a $10 credit I already had. Final price = $35 for MW2 new).

So i've been playing this shit all day. It is very, very good. if you liked CoD4 you will definitely enjoy this one. The multiplayer is the same but tons more achievements, weapons, levels, customization options, etc. The maps are really detailed. I haven't touched the single player campaign yet but based on the multiplayer I give the game a 9.9/10.

Edit: Oh and I forgot to mention that I have been playing the PC version. Once I started playing the game I completely forgot about the lack of dedicated servers and console. In the end it really doesn't matter because it doesn't affect the game at all. Anyone who doesnt buy the game for these reasons alone is an emo bitch.
