My brother is a network engineer for T-Mobile. When he started working there all the other tech convinced him to get a G1, they all talked about how great it is. My brother had it for about 2 months before he bought a samsung epix and unlocked it for t-mobile. He can go on and on about the faults of it, I haven't used it long enough to know them all, but he used to borrow my iphone all the time when we were away from a computer and would complain that his phone couldn't do it. Mainly I remember him complain about the "app store", the interface, and web browsing. He does prefer windows mobile over andriod and OS3.0, but I came from windows mobile and don't miss it one bit.

g1 is a work in progress and it feels like one.

        windows mobile is absolute junk.

Everyone has preferences though. It's like trying to convince someone this car is better than that one.

Yea I could see that being a real pain in the ass. My brothers epix has a touch screen and a small touch pad. It's kinda like on newer laptops how they have that scroll bar on the side of the mouse pad, it's really a nice phone, and it only took him maybe 15 minutes to unlock it for T-mobile.

Here's a question for you guys. I have a Nokia 5310 and I pay 6.99 a month for unlimited internet. Can I switch my SIM to a 3G phone and use the slower internet or will they make me pay for a full on data plan?

Depends on the provider, normally you can. Luckily I pay $15 a month for unlimited internet, calls, and 500txts a month, thru t-mobile, with my iPhone. I love my brothers discount.

                    Update
The touch pro 2 is dope but it feels like it would break easy. I would have kept it if I wasn't
in the electrical trade. So I got the mytouch. I like it more than my old iphone.

Is there an apple like dynolicious for android yet?

i have the blackberry pearl and my mom has the blackberry curve, they are great phones. i have posted from my pearl, its a little odd because its a small screen. her screen is perfect for it. you can do basically anything with the blackberry. they are great phones and i have no complaints.
