Just so you know blue devil said the thing was worth at least $200+ and I did have a guy that I had sold other items to offer me $175, but I had already given it to Brett.

In general I am not a dick, but when I get people like flying fiddle fart butting in and stating his condescending opinions then I am going to let loose. As far as matt is concerned I know all he was trying to do was get a great part on the cheap and I don't blame him for trying, but the way he went about it was all wrong. I look at it this way. If you are looking for a very rare part and one comes along, you offer the guy a fair and decent price for it and you will probably get it. If Matt had PM me and said hey dude I am willing to pay you $200 + shipping for the thing it would have been his.

Contrary to what a lot of people think I am not a noob to the E30 world and I went to that junk yard just to snag that valance as I knew it was very desirable. I own 5 E30's and could have easily used it on one of my cars, but I gave it to Brett as I knew he would appreciate it much more than one of my kids. And I was right, he had that thing mounted on his car in about an hour and posted up on e30tech pictures that day. I just hope he doesn't go offroading again in his ix with that thing on the car!

Anyway, I am glad that this thread got moved to OTL as it did have a bit of drama in it. Thanks to everyone that was supportive of me in your posts and to all those that think I am an ass then oh well...I guess I am!
