A guy in the comments said the same thing, what makes there so susceptible to infection, I mean it is just a tiny cut on a really big pimple. Not doubting you or anything, just curious as to why this would be different than popping a pimple.

The reason I believe it to be more susceptable to infection is that often cysts are much deeper below the skin than most cuts, and they are an infection to begin with. Usually a sweat gland gets infected.

My thumb got infected once and doubled in size and turned all green. So I heated up a sewing needle with a lighter then poked it and drained all the puss. It was cool.
