Dude. Theres a BP at the top of my street. On an average mon-fri morning there's around 20-30 south americans in the parking lot. Today while I was driving by they were RACING on foot to the guy who pulled over looking for cheap labor.
thats how its been for years. more than half are illegal, and they do work for cheap labor. when i was in tiburon, ca. we had to get 6 extra guys a day. the local gas station corner was the spot to hit up at 530am. worked out everytime.

I want to apologize for wasting forum bandwidth with this dumb shit.

          Last night I drank myself into a stuper, after being ripped off by a local contactor for alot of money. I woke up at 730am to take my son to school and go to work, and the windows in my Titan were smashed and the following was stolen;

          Dewalt cordless sawzall
          Dewalt 10 HD sawzall
          Dewalt 18v cordless drill
          Dewalt 12v impact drill
          Dewalt hammer drill
          Dewalt circular saw
          Dewalt jigsaw
          6' level
My husky toolbox with over 500 of misc. tools.
My ultimate MX 795 Graco airless was taken from my shed. I paid over 1800 for it.

The cops just left and the adjuster is on his way right now. I cant work today. No tools. Im in complete shock.

Holy shit, that's a lot of goddamn money in tools. Hopefully with insurance you can upgrade to 36v Li-ON and pick yourself up a radio/charger.

I hope you have a provision increasing your covered amount for "Work Tools" otherwise you may be severly limited on payment since they are commercial items under your HO policy.

I know State Farms policies are limited to $1k on premises and $250 off premises, unless you have an endorsement increasing that limit.

Turns out the insurance may cover it. Until then, just waiting for it to pop up at the local pawn.

I HATE that people steal tools. They're used for work... and to steal is to think you can get by without work. so friggin stupid.

Good luck with the insurance man. I've never had anything like that happen, but I'd probably make a list of what I though I had pre-robbery and go over it a few times over a few hours/days to make sure I didn't forget anything (something I'm sure you've done)
