Righty vrs. Lefty!

So we all [assuming] know how to drive. But what about little advantages? Would a lefty have some advantage over a righty in a manual car, or is it just the opposite?

I know of a couple of advantages to being a lefty.

1) Don't have to worry about the steering column clearing the exhaust. This is a major issue for guys that turbo e28s in the RHD part of the world. This is due to the large steering box in the 5ers.

2) Depending on the car there might not be anywhere to rest your left foot when not using it to control a pedal (i.e. most of the time)
