Are you serious? Fuck that guy. He deserves whatever he gets.

In person I'm probably one of the most forgiving, understanding people you'll meet, and I can say without hesitance that the only reason I don't necessarily hope he gets shot is because it might fuck with the OP's sister's kids even more than he already has. This guy is fucked up, completely nuts, harassing his wife and family-in-law and there isn't a single reason I could think of, besides that and the legal ramifications, for not laying him down if it's necessary.

It won't stop until he's tits up or you scare the shit out of him somehow, and even then it's a gamble. Best of luck OP, and keep us updated if you can.

This shit works awesome!! I can completly vouch for it!! I keep it in my car, and when a road-rager came over to my convertible to punch me for not turning when a "No turns on red" sign was right in front of me. I gave it to him point blank in the face!! It compeletely blew his stupid oakley sunglasses off!! Getting hit with this shit will make it alot easier to disarm him if he comes after you. Remember tho, never bring a knife to a gunfight!

I talked to my sister today. She said the court granted her request for supervised visitation. They were not able to decide on the restraining order for her due to some court procedural issue, but tomorrow they should grant that.

One of my sister's friends said that in these types of cases the courts tend to take some of the complaints like my sister's lightly because they've seen too many people make stuff up. She said that the attorneys she spoke to said that the fact that he was involved in a "violent" altercation outside the courtroom would have changed all of that.

He's still in jail. Turns out that they charged him with assault and battery as well as some type of battery against the sheriff that cuffed him (I didn't see him get arrested because they pulled him into a courtroom). They set his bail at $13K. My sister's attorney said she had to serve him with some paperwork in jail and she went into his cell with two deputies and she's never been as scared.

It's not over yet, but that's all good news. I've been cleaning pools in 90 degree heat all day.

Also, as a gun owner, I applaud you for making the choice to not get a gun you don't feel comfortable either using(due to legal ramifications) or storing(mentioned children). Arming yourself with the tools to defend yourself doesn't have to mean a firearm. Be safe and hopefully this fucker either gets the help he needs to become a normal citizen, or gets the help into a severe beating induced coma.

I completely agree. I own several guns, just picked up an AR-15, and will be working on a CCW when I turn 21 in December. I pray that I NEVER have to use my weapons in self-defense and can use them for recreation. BUT, if it comes down to me possibly losing my life or becoming very injured or whatever, just because someone wants some of my personal property, or has some wild unjust anger with me, so be it. I have a sound mind, and know I never wanna shoot someone. I bet that 90% of the people who instantly scream BUY A GUN, don't own one, and if they do, they probably shouldn't.

I have guns but still wouldn't shoot someone unless it was a very last resort. Doesn't mean I wouldn't bludgeon the fuck out of him with the first thing I got my hands on tho. To me that would be more satisfying...bang its over :roll: ..or pickin up something and bashing him upside the dome :o ....now thats more my style. It would also give him time to reflect upon what a poor decision he had made forcing his way into your home to cause you and yours harm.

I can relate to you as a brother/father of two myself. My younger sister was involved with a raging nut job similar to this. She has a kid to him too..he wanted to kill her and tried on a couple occasions because he didn't want the kid or to pay child support....nice reason huh.....he destroyed her car, followed her around, showed up where she worked....just literally had her so scared to the point she was afraid to leave my parents house. Took me AND my dad seperately beating the shit out of him on a few different occasions, but the final draw was me hitting him with my truck as he stood in my parents driveway thinking:

1. My dad was gone to so he could terrorize my mom n sis. He'd wait for my dad to go to work at 1:30am, then make his move around 2-2:15am.

2. I live about a half hour away so he didn't think I would be a threat. If they called me, he'd be long gone before I got there.

But oh to his dismay when I roared in from around the corner cuz I knew what that fukker was up to ;). I hid in the alley and waited for the motion light to come on by the garage. He did the homeboy slap his chest and put his arms out like he was a tough guy and I wouldn't hit him. Yeah...he was wrong. Then I even picked his punk ass up off the ground and smashed his damn head into my grill cuz had he not been a shit head...it wouldn't be broken. A few stomps later.....I picked his ass up again, told him I had a gun in my boot so don't even try to run (which I didn't) cuz I'd shoot both knees right out from under him before he made it three steps, then called the local authorities via my cell phone and told them to get there before I kill him.

My sister had a pfa on his ass and he was in direct violation. She pressed charges and it didn't help he was whacked out on coke and half drunk at the time of the incident. So he spent some time in jail. Haven't seen or heard from him since. That was about two and a half years ago now......
