So, I got into it with my soon to be ex brother-in-law today. He's a piece of shit and so my sister is in the process of divorcing him. He's basically a bi-polar nutjob who doesn't take his medication and thinks it's okay to get belligerent with my sister and mom. He basically lives out of his car and doesn't have a lot to lose.
When he was staying with some mutual friends he repeatedly would say that he wants to strangle my sister with her own intestines and wants to watch her die slowly (according to a sworn statement).
My sister arranges to allow him to see the kids as long as he requests it in advance. He's not supposed to drive because he's had two epileptic seizures in the last month and doesn't want to take any medication to prevent them. Lately, he'll make arrangements to see the kids from 1 - 4 pm at a park. My sister has my mom drop them off so that he won't try to confront my sister. At 4 pm, he's not at the park and texts my sister to say that he'll only drop them off with her, or he just shows up at her house with the kids and is belligerent (he repeatedly calls her a fucking lying whore in front of his own kids).
He blames my sister for ruining his life and truly believes that marrying him was an elaborate ruse that she planned to destroy his life (he is really crazy). Today, she had a court hearing to request a restraining order and that he can only see the kids at supervised visits (at a special facility for this kind of thing). Her free lawyer says that it is unlikely that she'll get any of the things she's asking for from the court.
I knew that he would deny doing any of the things he's done and thought I might rattle his cage before the hearing so that he could show his true colors. I waited outside the court to follow him in, but he snuck in the back way.
I saw him in the hallway before they let people into the courts and told him that I heard he wanted to kill my sister. He got really confrontational and told me I didn't know what I was talking about. He asked if I wanted to fight him outside and I said I didn't want to. He got in my face and I said a bunch of shit to him (if you couldn't tell, I'm pretty good at fucking with people). He ended up pushing me into some doors and was arrested for assault. Apparently, one of the asst. district attorneys was in the hallway at the time (along with about 30-40 other people).
He'll probably get out of jail tonight. I've got some pepper spray and am pretty ready to light his face up if I see him (I'm working on a tazer). He could probably kick my ass in a fair fight, but I don't plan on one (I'm not a badass MMA guy). I know people on the internet would have killed him by now, but I don't want to spend the rest of my life in jail (I'm a father).
